Traffic Engineering
SDDCTEA is the DoD
agent for highway traffic engineering matters.
Our mission is to improve highway safety and reduce traffic congestion on
DoD installations. SDDCTEA provides the Department of Defense with the
research, engineering, and analytical expertise to improve the
deployability of U. S. Armed Forces, the transportability of military
equipment, the infrastructure of the Defense Transportation System, and the
management and execution of the DoD transportation programs for national
defense.
In order to accomplish
our mission, we:
• conduct traffic engineering studies
• provide training (pamphlets, workshops, bulletins)
• software (ACP/ECF SMART Decision Evaluator, Better Military Traffic
Engineering)
